Providers and data use
Updated October 27, 2026
Resend transactional email
Resend receives the recipient email address and transactional verification, recovery, and security message contents, including codes and, where existing recovery/security mail includes it, the account username. Existing recovery messages may concern learner accounts; this is not a claim that no student information is ever sent. These email flows do not send lesson responses or grades. Independent personal tutoring signup does not collect an email address or use this email recovery service. Provider logs, backups, and retention depend on the applicable provider terms; zero provider retention is not promised. This listing describes the application’s email flow and is not an executed data-protection agreement or school authorization.
OpenAI Sites
Provides site source and deployment services. Exact contractual role, operational access, logs, retention, location, and subprocessor obligations require confirmation under the applicable service agreement. This listing is not an executed data-protection agreement.
Cloudflare Workers and D1
Runs the application and stores its database. Application records include accounts, class membership, academic work, requests, and administrative events, plus the separate personal tutoring accounts and their own saved answers, content snapshots, and progress. Written confirmation of applicable processing terms, backup deletion, service logs, storage location, support access, and breach reporting is still required for school review.
Historical media and external links
Some historical images and linked sources may contact National Archives, Library of Congress, or other source websites, exposing ordinary connection metadata. Those sites operate under their own notices. The application suppresses referrer information on its main responses. No advertising service is intentionally integrated.
AI processing
Independent tutoring checks and self-review do not call an AI provider. A separate optional OpenAI API integration supports requested written-response feedback and teacher scoring suggestions. It is disabled until the operator configures and enables it after provider review and evaluation. When enabled, it sends the response, task, rubric, instructional context, and model example. It does not send account identifiers or support profiles, though text students write may contain personal details. Requests set store=false; this is not a guarantee of zero provider retention. Suggestions are provisional and cannot change official grades, mastery, or rewards. Before activation, document applicable processing terms, retention, training restrictions, and school or family authorization. Identifiable student records cannot be reused for advertising, unrelated commercial profiles, or unrelated AI training.
Provider review
Use Privacy administration to record document references and findings. A reviewed status records a human review; it does not create contract terms or a certification. No provider commitment is represented as verified solely by this page.
